We were called out to clear a blocked drain in Selsey.
On this particular drain clearance job we used high pressure water jetting equipment to push the blockage away into the main sewer. When using high pressure water jetting equipment it uses around 3000psi of water pressure via long flexible hoses which enables us to push through any build up of tissue or waste product in the drain.
We jetted through the whole system to ensure it was free flowing once again . We then inserted the camera back into the system to visually double check all was removed.
CCTV equipment uses a wheel-mounted, remote control camera which is put into the drain to locate the blockage. It sends images back to a monitor. Which is being visually inspected by our engineer . This enables us to find the cause and exact location in the system to remove the blockage.
The customer was happy to see the blockage had been removed and has not had a problem since.
